You know how it is when you were planning on an event with excited anticipation and then it was cancelled and you were devastated? It can make you feel victimized that you were trusting in the event and then it failed you. It almost sucks all of the energy and spirit out of you and can make you feel deflated just like trying to lose weight by eating. Eating right is a challenge in the world today with all of the food choices surrounding us.

You can create a remarkable change amidst the challenges of food choices available. Once you learn the steps necessary to conquer bad habits and emotional triggers, you can come out victorious! It's more than just learning about what to do, action needs to take place. With the right direction, you can triumph through the steps of accomplishing your goals.

I love eating. I have favorite foods that I refuse to cut out of my diet. But, I have lost more weight than my original goal and flattened my tummy by learning how to make healthy choices and choosing when it is okay to have my favorite foods. I have been able to maintain my weight loss and not give up my two favorites, chocolate and popcorn.

Choose one treat. Instead of completely depriving yourself, choose one favorite indulgent food you love and save it for the weekend. Only eat it the one time that week. The rest of the week stay completely clear of any treats, goodies, or sweets.

Choose one day. Decide at the beginning of the week what day you will eat whatever you want. Plan your meals for the rest of week full of fruits, veggies, and lean proteins.

Choose 3 days. Choose 3 days a week where you don't eat any carbohydrates for any of the meals or snacks.

Choose water. Use water as your main source of drink. Drink at least 100 ounces a day to lose weight quickly and effectively.

These steps will help you to be more conscious of what you are consuming on a weekly basis. You can shed unwanted pounds as you plan your food choices. Make sure you are focusing and dedicated to make these changes and you will soon reach your goals.
